Hy2NG is discontinued

Hy2NG is discontinued.

Not many people ended up using Hy2NG. A VPN client is not a set-and-forget app: it needs steady maintenance to keep up with Android, with Hysteria2 and with the networks people actually connect through. With the number of users we had, those hours were not paying for themselves, and shipping half-maintained releases would let down the people who did rely on it.

Hy2NG is no longer available on Google Play. Existing installs keep working, and your configurations stay on your device.

If you run Hysteria2 servers, the coverage on Android has gotten good: mature, actively maintained clients are around, and the protocol itself is in active development.

Thanks to everyone who used Hy2NG along the way. Our other apps are unaffected: Convertit and Convertit Pro are live, and we keep working on them.
